What is the Media Services group?
Media Services is a member of the IS&T Customer Services and Shared Technologies department. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive multimedia support to Washington University in St. Louis faculty & staff. We test a wide range of communications hardware and software systems to provide complete support from installation to deployment and beyond. Our site has several helpful links that will help guide you to answers on technology you may not yet be familiar or simply need assistance with. From webcams and conferencing solutions, to audio/video recording systems let us help point you in the right direction. Adobe Connect Training

Our website is now up and running and we are excited to begin helping the Washington University community. We have been very busy testing out new technologies and are happy to finally be able to offer some of these services to your departments. Some services are still in prototype testing modes, others such as the Adobe Connect virtual meeting spaces are fully available once a simple training has been completed. We are starting to create technical self help documents and videos for some of the most popular communications programs and hardware on campus. You may access them by clicking on the technologies link on the left hand side bar. If you find that you need any of the services that Media Services can provide, do not hesitate to call or email us at mediaservices@wustl.edu with your request. We hope to add a significant number of new videos and documentation in the next few months. Please contact us if you have additional information you feel we should explore
We are also pleased to announce that we have a new student worker named Michael who came to us from the STARS program. Colleen Corbett and her group do a fantastic job with finding highly skilled student workers and we are excited to share our knowledge with our new addition.
